Harboe is one of the largest Nordic producers of malt extract and malt syrup, and this product range now constitutes a significant part of the combined activities of Harboes Bryggeri. We offer a wide range of products related to malt extract and have long-standing experience in the development and production of standard and speciality products alike.
Harboe’s malt extract products are used in many industries, including the food and beverages industry, for bakery products, baby food and many other purposes. The primary ingredient in the production of malt extract is malted barley, but we also use rye malt, oats, organic malt and concept malt. Malt extract has a high natural content of minerals and Vitamin B. It makes a good alternative to sugar and can be used as flavouring and colouring agent.
Quality is paramount for Harboe. We are certified for many sectors and we are constantly developing new products and improving our current processes. Moreover, we do not use genetically modified ingredients, and none of our products require GMO labelling.
