Barlex Bakery

Barlex® light malt extract is a good natural source for the yeast and works as a binder in the bread and facilitates homogeneous dough. The malt extract provides an even and standardized warm colour and gives the crust a crispy surface plus enhances the natural taste of the bakery product.

Barlex® dark malt extract has the same good qualities as the light malt extracts and as a plus also works as a natural colour agent.
